Can we change tax payable in part -4 table 9 in GSTR-9
in GSTR-9 as per GSTR-1 and 3b data is not match and in part 4 table 9 GST payable is difference than can we change tax
 

Answer:

In GSTR-9 Tax payable in Table 9 can be changed but tax paid cannot be changed. You are suggested to please confirm that tax payable as per Table 9 should match with Turnover shown in Table 4.

However in case tax is paid in GSTR-3B in 2018-19 related to GSTR-1 of 2017-18 then the same should be shown in Table 10/11 and Table 14 of GSTR-9 and reduce the same manually from Table 4.
