Question29 : I want to know the what is mean by net content of input material in output. Where the allowed is 1 % wastage and how it is to calculate.

Answer: In GST you have to pay tax on out ward supply and take credit on inward supply .There is no one to one co relation of input and out put.  

There are some restriction imposed in section 17(5) but not relating to material consumption ratio.  

Please note that if you are worried  about SION fixed for import then it is not relevant for GST it will be separate matter for issue of advance authorisation. (Reply dt. 12/12/2017)
