We purchased goods and received. but goods and defective we want to return it what is the procedure ? goods received through transport interstate?
 

Answer:

if you taken credit 

 i )Then issue a fresh invoice like sale of goods or Return goods on debit note  .Against this the supplier will issue credit note    Your debit note will be taken in financial record but GSTN will response to credit note of the supplier only

 ii) if the goods are not taken in record in full then issue debit note or reject the invoice.

 iii) if the goods are rejected on the gate then return material on original documents of the supplier put a stamp on it for gate rejection. (Reply Dt. 29/12/2017)
